REP SPOTS OPEN FOR VULCANS & REGION OF ORIGIN TEAMS


Auckland Rugby League are preparing for ARL and NZRL representative tournament opportunities coming up later in the 2024 season. As part of the process, we are now seeking expressions of interest for staff applications.

ARL REGION OF ORIGIN

These positions will be available for our ARL Region of Origin Tournament.

Played at Cornwall Park over four consecutive weekends, kicking off on Saturday 7th September.

GRADES AVALIABLE 

GIRLS

  • Auckland North - U14
  • Auckland South - U14

BOYS

  • Auckland North - U13 / U14 / U15
  • Auckland South - U13 / U14 / U15

AUCKLAND VULCANS

These positions will also be available for our Auckland Vulcans representative squads that will take part in NZRL Tournaments.

Girls National Youth Tournament:  held in Mt Maunganui over 3-consecutive days and will commence ion Sunday 29th September.

Boys National Youth Tournament:  held in Rotorua over 3-consecutive days and will commence on Wednesday 2nd October.

Men’s & Women’s Premiership will be held over 6-consecutive weeks commencing on Saturday 7th September.

  • Auckland Vulcans – U16
  • Auckland Vulcans – U18

PREMIERSHIP

  • Auckland Vulcans – Women’s
  • Auckland Vulcans – Men’s

Auckland Rugby League has no current agreement in place with the other Auckland Zones which restricts who players can play for in the National Premiership and National Youth Tournaments.

Applications close 13th June.

Please note that appropriate accreditation is needed:

Coaches

  • Any coaches wanting to apply for U13 – U17 must hold Kiwi League Youth accreditation or RPL equivalent.
  • Any coaches wanting to apply for the U18s+ must hold currently or be working towards Kiwi League Club accreditation or RPL equivalent.

Managers

  • Any manager wanting to apply for any representative teams must currently hold or be prepared to complete an NZRL Kiwi League Manager Foundation workshop.

Trainers

  • Any trainers wanting to apply for any representative teams must currently hold or be prepared to attend an ARL Trainers Accreditation workshop.
